Dr. Benjamin Ghiam

Dr. Ghiam is a board-certified Ophthalmologist with specialty training in Neuro-Ophthalmology, with expertise in strabismus surgery.

A native Californian, Dr. Ghiam completed his undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara. He earned his medical doctorate from the William Beaumont School of Medicine in Michigan, where he authored and published numerous peer-reviewed studies in ophthalmic research alongside the renowned Associated Retinal Consultants.

Dr. Ghiam's postdoctoral training began with a year in internal medicine at the UCLA Olive View Medical Center, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Case Western Reserve University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a subspecialty fellowship in pediatric and adult Neuro-Ophthalmology and strabismus surgery at the world-renowned USC Roski Eye Institute, LA General Hospital, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
